The Foundation was created in 2009 to study major national problems and bring them to the attention of society. It aims to respond to an obvious gap in Portuguese society: despite the frequency with which the most varied subjects are discussed in the public space, the debate in Portugal always seems to be based more on subjective opinions and individual perceptions than on solid data and careful investigations.
Challenge
To publish on the Pordata website a series of data and information about the legislative elections, governments and prime ministers of Portugal since 1974.
Solution
Visual storytelling with illustrations and animations was used in such a way that it could be very easy to understand the information. Several animations of different themes were created that helped to clarify several interesting information about legislative elections.
